Dirty Chicks Worm Castings was formed by two neighboring friends, Maryann & Lisa, who were presented with the opportunity to supply high quality organic , locally sourced worm castings to the public. Maryann, an avid gardener for over 20 years, has been using these worm castings for many years with amazing results. Located in the Midlands South Carolina, Dirty Chicks Worm Castings is able to provide affordable 30 lb. +/- bags of worm castings for all your gardening & landscaping needs.

HOW TO USE WORM CASTINGS
HOW MUCH?
Depending on what you're trying to accomplish, there are different ways to apply worm castings.
*If starting from scratch, just mix it into your existing soil. This works great for raised beds or some kind of planter where you're filling the whole thing with soil anyway. Using a ratio of 1 part casting to 4 parts of soil is a good starting place.

Unlike synthetic fertilizers or animal manure, worm castings won't burn plant roots. They contain microorganisms that support healthy soil. They also discourage root rot and other plant diseases as well as provide natural resistance to pests including aphids, mealybugs and mites.
